Two Arsenal's new player, Marouane Chamakh and Laurent Koscielny will both start their first games at Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon. 

Thomas Vermaelen will cbe the captain because Cesc Fabregas still absence while Andrey Arshavin, Jack Wilshere and Samir Nasri also in starting line-up.

Nordtveidt as right back this season

Nordtveit Harvard, 20 years old, joined Arsenal as a center back and captain of the reserves from the position two seasons ago. But he played in midfield while the last term on loan at Nuremberg and has been operating at right back for most of the pre-season.
Arsene Wenger will play Harvard Nordtveidt at right-back position this season so he can add his experience.
 
That's because Wenger does not believe Nordtveit capabilities have been exhausted or simply as a central defender and hope it was a Norwegian player can improve his game by playing in different roles according to the desired Wenger.
"He can play as central defender," said the manager. "I still believe that he needs and will have more experience. That is why I tried to play him in a different position this season."

Battle for number 1

Lukasz Fabianski says that all the Arsenal goalkeeper really struggled to claim the No. 1 spot under the crossbar before the start of the season rolling.
 
Arsène Wenger has already stated that he was not currently have a goalkeeper who deserves to occupy the No.1 position. Fourth team goalkeeper has been featured all the pre-season matches so far. None of their goalkeeper Vito Mannone was conceded even managed to stop a penalty kick.
"It [the game] has been quiet except for Sturm Graz Pls i had to make two Saves," Told Fabianski Arsenal.com.
 
"At the moment I've not had a lot to do in the games but We have the Emirates Cup in front of us so That Will Be interesting.
 
"There is a big chance for everyone and as you cans see everyone is fighting really, really hard for that No. 1 spot."
so, Who Will Be The Goalkeeper no.1 for this season? We must wait until the season starts.

"We'll improve our Quality"

Arsène Wenger, Arsenal coach, is confident Arsenal can improve the final position in the English Premier League this season, unlike last season, although the money spent by the club did not much like other clubs.
 
Manchester City in particular has spent the cash in an effort to purchase new players who can make them strong and get into the race to get the English League title, While having a bit but Wenger is still confident his team can not improve the position like last season's standings.
"I am very confident we will do better than last season," he said. "We know in England that the Premier League is the biggest league in the world and all people invest a lot of money there.
 
"We invest in our work, in our beliefs, the quality of our behavior and I am sure that will settle the mistakes we made last season.
 
"We finished last year in the third position and we hope we can improve on the race this season, but would be difficult .."
